Tree Care, Storm Damage & Community Support
We recently completed a series of tree maintenance works for a housing association in High Lane, Stockport where we provide ongoing care and management of their trees across multiple sites. These works are part of a regular maintenance programme to ensure trees remain safe, healthy, and well managed for residents and the public.
As part of this project, all wood chippings generated from the works were donated to High Lane Cricket Club, supporting the local community and ensuring nothing went to waste.
Tree Work Carried Out
This set of jobs involved a variety of tree surgery tasks, each requiring a tailored approach.
Each task was carefully planned and carried out in line with BS3998 tree work recommendations, with safety and minimal disruption as a priority.
Safe Tree Work in Public Areas
Several of the trees were located close to public footpaths and residential properties, requiring controlled working methods and clear site management. Our team ensured pedestrian safety at all times, using appropriate signage, exclusion zones, and professional equipment to complete the work efficiently.
Supporting Local Community Spaces
Rather than removing all arisings from site, the wood chippings were repurposed and donated to a local cricket club for ground maintenance. This approach supports sustainability while benefiting community facilities.
Commercial Tree Surgery Specialists
